My sister and I have been eating healthy for 2 weeks, but today we were craving buttery garlic prawns. This recipe was made in around 7 minutes and is so good if you are really hungry and don’t know what to eat
Paprika & Garlic Butter King Prawns
- Pack of Iceland frozen king prawns
- 1 big clove of garlic, minced
- 1/4 lemon, juiced
- 1 chicken stock cube,
- 25g butter
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4-1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- Wedges of lemon, for serving
Add butter into the pan on a medium/high heat with black pepper, cayenne and black pepper. Once it starts to bubble, add in the king prawns and garlic, cover pan with a lid and let it cook for two minutes.
After, crumble chicken stock into the the pan and mix.
Add parsley and cook down until the mixture becomes thick and the oil starts to show through (see below)
Serve immediately with bread or couscous.
The prawns were so meaty, succulent and flavourful. Next time I will defo make more!
